Paint Bubbles

Recently got a bike, that had some bubbles in the re-paint.

I was thinking of a hypodermic needle to remove the air, then add some adhesive back in.  Then rubber roll down

Anyone try this or have another option.

Dont really want to repaint.

Interesting solution that I don't think really will work but maybe worth a shot.
 If the dried paint is bubbled, it's also stretched. No matter what it will be wrinkled after you flatten it.

^ agree. just leave it alone and hope its not rusting pinoles under there. or, take it to a pro and get it touched up correctly.

Paint bubbles probably mean something in the colour and base are reacting with each other or even something below that.. Even if you do patch up the current batch, there may be more on the way.

A lot of people recommend self etch primers, but if you paint modern urethane paints over it you will get bubbles. Maybe in a week, maybe years later.

Really?  I haven't hear that before.  I'll have to keep that in mind.
