Coil relay mod is installing a relay to power your coils directly from the battery. I'd also recommend that you get a "proper" battery. I've used the alarm batteries before and they never hold up. If you can swing it, upgrade to electronic ignition. Or go for the Vape CDI and charging system, I did and I have NO electrical problems now 😁

Air leak at the choke connecting hose? I have had that problem before.If you are using Tygon or other soft hose, hose clamps or just cable ties May be neccesary.

It will stutter and pop (backfire) if it is starving for fuel. I had this happen to me and I needed to clean my petcock. Rust built up and messed up my fuel flow.

Just confirm everything before jumping into jetting. I have done that one too many times.
