Title: Another 2-stroke race series gone
Post by: SoCal250 on February 01, 2021, 12:52:30 PM
Another 2-stroke race event has been replaced with another type of powerplant. This time it's the Jr Supercross division, which is usually so entertaining at each Supercross event on the schedule. The races are usually some of the best action of the night as the little kids rip around the track. However, last season they replaced the 2-stroke 50cc KTMs with an electric KTM model.

Not only sad because the 2-stroke racing is gone from this division, but it also means that future generations will not experience 2-strokes as they grow up. There won't be that seed planted in their youth to steer them towards 2-strokes in their later years. Smoky 2-strokes will now be totally foreign to them.

And of course, the live races will be really boring as they putt around the track in silence. :harley:

Hard Enduro and trials are about all that's left anymore.
