Does Yamaha outsources RD parts to China ? Anyone seen this before ?

Never seen that before, but whoever bought that should have used partzilla. Almost $20 cheaper.

   I had never noticed that before either so I went through my bin of new Yamaha parts that I've bought in the past year through official Yamaha dealers in the US. The majority (2/3-3/4) say "Made in Japan", and the remainder (mostly oil seals and small parts) say "Made in Indonesia". However, I did buy a Y-boot recently and sure enough it's the only part in the group that says "Made in China".  Hopefully this isn't a growing trend for their parts sourcing.
