Ever since the ZX25R was announced a few years ago I have been wishing they would bring it to the US. I wouldn't hold your breath.
Although it is cool Kawasaki has put effort and money into developing the small inline 4's, I'm skeptical that they are better in anyway compared to the aluminum, swingarm/framed, twin front disc, lightweight rockets they built in the early/mid 90's.
And price wise.... Would they be a better buy than a vintage version that possibly is truly a better bike that will go up in value compared to the new one that will drop in value initially...?
I guess I can start breathing again.
they ar bringing it in, but id think money better spent on an older bike. (10k). but i might be slightly biased.

I'll be waiting for someone to wreck one so I can stuff the engine into one of the FZR400 Deltabox frames I have laying around.
Perfect plan!

with all the high tech wizard shit i would expect better. my 50 year old kawasaki z1a will out run that thing, and with no high tech anything. yes its double the displacement but antique in gadgetry. i believe my old rz may run that fast ?!?!?!?!?!

its a road race bike, not a drag bike. 2 different animals. I totally dig it.
My 92 FZR 400RR will suffice! I've got $2500 into it and it works perfect for what it is.
