I also have an 84RZ and a 75 RD. The RD is a nice bike to ride around town to make noise and spray for mosquitos... The RZ is a nice curvy country bike that loves to be rode hard. Both put a smile on your huge smile on your face. I also have a original looking 74 Z1A. it has my old drag bike engine on it. It ran 5.88 all day long in a dragbike chassis. Fun to catch the ninja boys off guard at the stop lights. dont handle worth a damn though ..lolol

never ever tailgate a woman or an elderly driver. you will only make them nervous, and they will stomp on the brakes when they lose sight of you!! usually when you are trying to pass them!! learned the hard way !!

reading all that stuff about efi made my head hurt !!!  so i went out and ran the piss out of my poor rd !!!  better than taking excedrin 

i was referring to the hobbyist planes more than anything, piston props. But still. trends on the data will show up vs the o2, and if a head temp is used as well. whos looking at the gauge in this MC application to write a map? (efi) this would all have to be data logged.

The ITT is egt just taken between low speed and high speed turbines.

very true..but in the cockpit n1 and epr are the main indications for settings ...the rest of the engine parameters are for info only   usually during engine start when airflow is minimal

Piston engine aircraft need the egt because the mixture is adjustable from the cockpit and is more of a reference to what you set the mixture at. Turbine engine's are much more dependent on egt.

actually turbine engines are dependent on ITT and fuel flow thus temperature inside the combustion chamber. EGT is important, but not as much as ITT. but then again im only a newbie 747 captain with 30,000 hours

He needs to move up to east tenn and open up !! lots of vintage bikes that run up and down the dragon !! and a great economy to support it.  we really need a good mechanic up here like him !!!

i laced a new rear wheel for my 74 z1900 and admired my rz and rd sitting patiently for someone to flog them !!!

i just bought a set of z1 carbs from him .  holy crap you ought to see the stuff he has !!!! several complete rds and h1 h2 z1   and tons of parts.... if its vintage he has it  and its only 8 miles from me      not advertising at all....just saying what a honey hole

im in maryville tenn and just noticed that there is a vintage bike shop here. the owners name is rock quenzler. im assuming that would be a relative of chuck ??  he has some z1 parts im looking for, so i will try to get some info tomorrow. 

i took the rz for a nice evening ride... ran the piss out of it like i always do!!!   at 60 years old , i never get bored of second gear wheelies..   drew a lot of thumbs up from young and old..damn i love that bike    tomorrow will be the rds turn   after i mount new body parts on my 74 z-1
