Very sad to hear Doug passed.  I only dealt with him a few times but from what I understood, he was one of the toughest humans ever.  His second accident, where he fell off his van ramp in a chair would have shut down most people, but even after that accident Doug kept going.

I used to look forward going to motocarrera's website.  I had Doug build a 400 motor for me and like many others, bought many spare parts for the RDs over the years.  Didn't look like his disability slowed him down any.

May the wind always be at your back and the sun shine warm upon your face.   :patriot: Much respect

Good bye old friend, thank you for partaking in the love of two strokes we all share.
The many conversations we had that I will never forget and the joy in his eyes as my brother and I rode up on RD's at the first Two Stroke Extravaganza if my memory serves me I believe was in La Mirada Park in So Cal.

I have the original flyer and will try to find and post,

Many of his parts are on my bike and his shirt is in my closet. Thanks Doug
