A slow process... Soon to be accelerated.
Most are of parts prepped. But the wheels are back on the bike. Parts are bolting up slowly. I just need the paint work. Should be ready Thursday... I'll believe it when I see it! Is this Cafe Racer of Ypsilanti all over again?!?
God I hope not. Lol
Side covers sanded to reveal the stripe of aluminum.
Paint peeled off with tape and I'm out of Fast Black. So a quick brush over with ceramic black works for now. Dadgum.
Great progress, if you need some help I am a phone call away..
I kind of know those bikes and can help you out on a good runner to a great runner.

Little by little.
Went and picked the paint work up today... You don't get to see that yet. But hey.
Here she be after my wiring woes. Headlight ears and bucket etc all on.
Fender on. Just need to attach the brake line to the fork (installed brake banjo cover). A few tweaks outta do it. Brake bleed next.
Left to do: Tighten swingarm, hook up neutral light. Cut and install new chain. Tighten front sprocket. Adjust chain and tighten rear axle.
Flush gas and oil tank. Sight glass already installed.
Clean and assemble carbs. New fuel lines, install crossover shutoff and petcock on tank.
Premix and fire it up. Prime pump and get to jetting.
First ish run. All in all I'm just happy it's basically done.
yeah man! looks and sounds great

Hey, my heads going bald! WTF lol.
Like 15 years ago my wife and I were on a trip (ratty old cb750, great fucking times btw!) we stopped at waterfall and I decided to strip to my skivvies and jump in. Mean while wifey snapped a pic from up above. After looking at pics I was like the sun must've been bright to make my head look so... bald. She fessed that my non-vanity was robbing me the opportunity to see my thinning hair. Well Striker 15 years later...
