RD 350&400 oil tank cleaning

Curious to know how you all clean the oil tank on rd's?

Filled mine with some gas and shook it about and repeated until it poured out clean, then used a flashlight to see inside bast I could to confirm all the goo was gone.
I used a clear hose kit when I put the bike together. Easy to see whats going on now.
