Nats are on hold again.  Looks like they are shooting for a 6 race series starting in a month or so.

Anyone camping out at a campground?

I might attend with a toy hauler.

I took apart the snail(?) and thoroughly checked it again cleaned it up and greased it. Re-routed my cable back to how I had it and went with Chuck's recommendation of the tri-flow. I would gladly say a 25-35% improvement. Makes her much more enjoyable to ride. I can hang on much better now. :vroom:

Good cable, good clutch lever/perch and Tri-flow cable lube is a must!

Do you lube new cables?  Asking for a friend...   ;)

that heatshrink?

No Mark,

That is a small piece of the main line, stretched over the OD of the same line.

Easy Peasy!

If you want some clamping force, But do not want to use a conventional clamp. Cheap and easy...

I ran Yamalube R for about 1000 miles on new ProX pistons and rings. I and found about 0.001 wear on pistons and ring end was huge gap . I called Yamaha and they say only to use Yamalube R for premix and run Yamalube S for injection. I just had cylinders honed and installing new pistons and rings did leak down test held 6 psig for over 1/2 hour.  Any suggestions on oil  choice would be appreciated.

Yamaha is correct. S is for injection.

The word on the street is that R is too thick for injection.

I have been using R & S in the correct application for the better part of thirty years. No oil related failures. Ever.
