Title: Blocking on ebay
Post by: RDFL on October 26, 2021, 12:40:36 PM
We all know the cyclepartexpress guy on ebay ($500 for a washer) trying to make $100.000 of a single RD400. Is there anyway to block sellers from searches, so his items won't show up?

Just a thought, but don't people just do this to keep the listing open when an item is out of stock (basically to prevent any bids)? Then change it to a more realistic price when back in stock?

I've not tried this, but something like (-cyclepartexpress) in your search line might work I know that -fits works well to filter out bogus hits.

    Use Advanced Search (upper right).
    Scroll down to Sellers.
Check box next to 'Only show items from'.
    Switch 'Include' to 'Exclude'.
Type in Usernames of the sellers you want to exclude in the empty box.

I tried it years ago.
Seemed to work
