I'm still aiming to sell the RD, I want to avoid the CL yahoos and I try to avoid FB whenever possible. I figured I'd try BaT first since they seem to get silly prices. They accepted the bike but won't let me put a reserve on it. Would you risk it, or should I head over to iconic or ebay?
I watch both, and can't tell you what to do. BOth are bringing big money.
Iconic just had this Daytona "custom" pull $10,700...

I don't believe that bike has sold yet. $10,700 is the asking price. It's still listed in their Classifieds section

This one sold recently though for $10K+

Yep and thx SoCal250. I was kinda wondering the same thing myself. Kinda new experience for me viewing those Iconic bike selling ads. Now about that Pasha Racing Guy, this is the third bike build I've seen of his on Iconic. He's a little RD restomod retailing factory for sure.
No front fender! Forget it!
Since you're asking I would list it on cycletrader and see what happens - less keyboard warriors on that site - I don't like how BAT is forcing you into a no reserve situation but if you don't have much money into the bike than go4it and list it on BAT because that's where the big stupid money is
What are you looking to get for it?
That may dictate where you list it.
M
Thanks folks, I hadn't thought about cycletrader I'll check it out.

Wait a minute. The last 2 green ones went for $11K and $12.25K. I think the last Daytona was $12K.
It's not a 'real' Daytona...it's a long story, but it was assembled in the early '80's using a '77 1A1 donor for motor, suspension, wiring, etc and a Yamaha parts catalog for the Daytona parts.
