How high will it go?  Never seen a in-line shut-off on an oil tank hose. :umm:

I wonder if the shut-off valve is there to stop oil dripping into the cylinders while sitting if the banjo one-way valves aren't working right. Thought about doing that on a GT750 that had that problem.

I have one on my GT750. The bike sits for long periods of time so it is just a safety measure in case the check valves are weak. You don't want to wet sump the bike.
