I was searching thru FB and found a couple.
I then went to NADA, and an 1984 in Excellent condition was listed at over $10K.
Whaaaat.
Anyone have or had one of these?
I have a V45 Sabre.

thats funny. 10k? :dawg:
ive ridden a few & local guy has one, meh at best.
Other years were not that High $$
I had one I bought brand new in 1984 while I was stationed on Okinawa. It handled good. It was very smooth. But I found it to be gutless, underpowered and uninspiring to ride. It was hateful to work on too.

That surprises me. They have horsepower in the 60s and torque in the 30s. At 400lbs, that's really not bad.
I've had 6 or 7 different interceptors over the years. You do have to wring em out! Next to the 86 vfr 750 I had my 85 500 was almost as fun. The carbs are a biotch to work on though. :twocents:
I recall very clearly when the interceptor came out. A good friends brother had one. We spent hours just looking at it. It looked like the future. When I look now, very dated.
RD and H1-2 all still look good to my eye.
This year looked good
i mean, i kinda dig em, def a cool time capsule.
25+ years ago, a girl i (Andrea) knew had one, she rode the piss out of that thing everywhere she went, on group rides her and Jen (on a 1st gen ex250) would hit about 110 mph and just stay there (rural kansas). I cant tell you how many times she launched the RH aftermarket exhaust can off that thing. :dawg:
But they are not 10K bikes IMHO.
