My brother gave me a 2-stroke for Christmas! :taz:
A "Storm Cat". 63cc's of pure fury :dawg:
New to me (but lightly used). They don't sell these here any more.
It's the only 2-stroke I currently own that's not made by Yamaha
Haha nice! A lot of folks use the Harbor Freight version for camping. Or should I say... glamping.
Very cool!!
I have one that I have used extensively. That little bastard has saved me (and my aquariums) during many a power outage. One thing to watch out for is carbon build-up on the screen that clamps onto the exhaust, just make sure to clean it off regularly. Otherwise, these things are great machines!
Affordable
Get an expansion chamber built for it!
i have an expansion chamber on one of my stihl chainsaws. holly shiite it makes a lot of noise and power .. :olaf: :olaf:
We're gonna need a video of that, please :popcorn2:
Just realized it's the 2nd non-Yamaha two-stroke I own. I had forgotten about my old Craftsman 27cc weed whacker, which coincidentally was also a gift from my brother.
Cool brother!
I've had my HF bought Tailgator 2 cycle generator a couple of years bought as a back up to power all of the special UVB and heating lamps for my two exotic lizards in case of prolonged power outage. I crank it about every 3 months and then let it run in the yard for several minutes. I use pure gas and Honda GN2 oil. I've not had to put it to use for its intended purpose yet.. I have a total of 14/ fourteen 2 cycle powered machines: 3 motorcycles :vroom:, 5 self propelled walk behind lawnmowers, 1 string trimmer, 2 blowers, 1 hedge trimmer, 1 stick edger, and the 1 generator. 3 are on the oil injection pump (motorcycles), 8 are on a 32/1 mix fuel ratio, and 3 are on a 50/1 mix fuel ratio.
all you need now is an expansion chamber and jets.
