been noticing when I kick the bike the lever will only return half way. I have to help it along with either my foot or my hand. I removed the side cover and didn't see anything suspect. Am I missing a small detail here? Is the kick lever gear timed?
Did you open up your gearbox recently?

ding ding ding, we have a winner. I pulled the side cover off as I was going to repaint it anyway. I spotted the missing washer and figured this was the cause. thanks
