A 4-wheel Vespa for those rainy days. Going across the auction block at Mecum (ends Dec 12)

- The Vespa 400 microcar was produced by ACMA in Fourchambault, France
- ACMA produced Vespa scooters and micro cars under license from the Piaggio Company in Italy
- Approximately 30,000 Vespa 400s were produced from 1957-61
- Air-cooled 393cc 2-cylinder engine
- 3-speed manual transmission
- Rear-hinged suicide doors
- Part of the Ken Weger Collection since 2007
- Mr. Weger acquired this car from a man in Salt Lake City, Utah
- The Vespa had previously been owned in Texas and Oklahoma
- Sold on Illinois title
- Titled as a 1960 Vespa 400
- Copy of previous Oklahoma title

- The micro cars from the Ken Weger Small Wonders museum will be sold "as-is/where-is" via Mecum On Time. Most of the cars have not been started or driven in recent years as they have been on static display at the museum. Please note that any vehicle purchased from this group could potentially require extensive restoration or essential basic service prior to driving on the road including but not limited to fuel systems and carburetors, batteries, brakes, etc. The vehicles will be available for on-site and in-person inspection on consecutive Saturdays prior to the auction.
