Howdy folks!
So I have a basket case 1985 Yamaha RZ350 that I'm trying to put together. Motor is being handled by a specialist but rest is where I'm working on (I'll post some pictures in near future).
Question - On the standard Mikuni 26mmm carbs, I see two bronze nozzle/connectors that I believe are for oil. Unfortunately, both are broken. So question is - a. How to remove them? AND b. What would be the replacement part for it?
FWIW, I see some for sale but don't have a measurement. One example is - https://www.ebay.com/itm/275100482663
See the highlighted parts in the picture.
Thanks in advance!
should eb able to put in a self tapping screw, gently, and pull out the broken leftover bits.
IF you are not going to leave the bike 100% stock, id consider going to individual carbs.
What Mark said above or very carefully drill out the broken bits (never done this) after you find replacements and measure for diameter.
I ended up using the stock carbs on the resto-mod in the link below. It runs much better than I expected with the stock carbs. But also what Mark said, if you are unable to repair yours there are many options for individual carbs.

Here's a couple of videos that may help you with your stock carb rebuild and set up/tune.
Thanks for the input guys. I'll see how that goes and report back.
Easy-outs work well on brass. Left hand drill bits work great as well and typically bite then unscrew the stuck part.
The paired carbs are a pain to change needles on but they're good enough. Used a pair on hot rd200 build but what a pain to change the needle clip!
