Title: Isle of Man TT - 2024
Post by: SoCal250 on May 28, 2024, 03:46:52 PM
Opening day was yesterday which got going after a morning weather delay. Michael Dunlop put in a 129.590 mph lap in Superbike qualifying.
Today was rained out.

Some coverage on YouTube. Or if you want to fork out some $$ you can get the TT streaming app.

Follow Unrestricted Isle on Facebook, and they stream it free from unusual vantage points around the circuit.

Download the Manx Radio app to your smartphone and listen to live race and practice commentary on their AM feed for free.

I lived there for 20+ years and went to the TT annually. The Chief Scrutineer is one of my best friends.

Hit me up with your questions.

I spent 10 days there for the TT a while back. I'd love to return. It was incredible and the island is a beautiful place.

Living there would be a dream come true. Surprised you left after being there for so long.

@simoniz I was at the Classic TT in 2019 and got to watch at Gooseneck, Union Mills, Cronk-Y-Voddy and the Cregg. In your opinion which are the top three places to watch from?

Couldn't get a work permit! Simple as that. They are very restrictive about them.

Those are all great spots. I like Glen Helen, Black Dubh, the Highlander, the Mountain Box, Cronk Ny Mona and my mate's house in Ramsey that is right on the circuit as they come into Parliament Square. We sit in the garden with a cup of tea watching them hit the brakes as they come down the road.
