Title: 1975 Yamaha RD350 - FB - Long Beach, CA
Post by: SoCal250 on August 27, 2024, 12:09:24 PM
(not mine)
I was checking out some of the RDs on FB and came across this one. Not sure what's going on with the Jemco pipes (mounted on the wrong sides maybe?). Looks kind of goofy. Strange use of punctuation too.

i mean its a decent 75 with a budget refresh. that stay-puft seat hurts my eyes.

Prices are outrageous here in so cal.   I won't buy another vintage bike here for these prices.  Lot of hipster la dudes are riding vintage now.  seen an rd250 a few years ago at an art/music event in the echo park area.  It was biggest pile of shit I have ever seen to the point of it being unsafe.  It wouldn't start when he and his 90 lb girlfriend wanted to leave.  I got it started and I realized he didn't have a front brake only a rear...omg!!

This is exactly what I think about with your statement. When I google rd' I always see this bike and rider. Cringe..

I can't even count how many things are wrong with that pic. Good lord, I feel very ill. :brownseat: And yes, you see a lot of that around here, not just with 2-strokes.
