Decided to get up a little early on a Saturday and head over to the weekly Donut Derelicts show again. Unlike last time when I rolled in around 5:45am, this time I showed up just after 7:00. Bike parking is reserved right in front so it's not as critical to get there super early like the cars need to.
Took the MB5

Because I own a Fox body this one caught my eye. Pretty serious drag car!

I took the RD there a few times. There was a dude with a kawasaki triple that was spotless. I think it had denco pipes sounded badass. There was an old school drag racer guy that had a 64 chevelle with his motor set up like grumpy jenkins front distributor drive for a small block chevy. think he was selling conversion kits. There is always an impressive turnout.

Let me know if you ever decide to take your RD there again. Was the triple you saw red with a white stripe?
:metal:
I had a Mustang II like the last picture. It was a 1975 Ghia that originally had a Vinyl top before I got it. Nothing sticking out of the hood like the picture, but a nice 302 V8 and 3 spd auto trans. Back before much smog equip on them and it scooted pretty well :burnout:
Also noticed a Pinto wagon in that same picture. I had 1 of those with a V-6 and "woodie" graphics. Both vehicles had horrible MPG due to Ford's shrinking of the physical size to make a "small car" for current trends but used same manufacturing methods and materials as before. Probably 30% heavier than they should have been.

This one was blue and he changes the tank and the side covers from what I was told. It was a full restoration from some dude in costa mesa. I may be getting two bikes confused to be honest. I'll let you know when I will be out there.
What is the older red small bore 2 stroke parked beside your MB5?
