Title: Fork brace for 350, 400, and daytona
Post by: Vintagewannabe on June 06, 2025, 08:40:01 PM
Went with the RSW racing fork brace for my '73 350. The finish is really nice, the fit is great, and it went on in 10 minutes. Pretty great for $140 to the door.

My RSW brace arrived last Tues. Haven't had a chance to mount it yet, but I'll post up some pics when I do with comments on the fitment.

Will it allow the stock front fender fitment under the brace ?
How do the 4) small threaded inserts hold when you torque both fork leg clamps?

I remember using a Telefix and the 4) 5mm steel inserts are pressed into the two halves of the main body;when tightened up snug,I was careful to go 'just enough, but no more' (in a manner of speaking)when it came to the 4) small clamp hold-down allen bolts, otherwise the steel inserts would begin to pull-out of the body which reduced clamping pressure.

I'm running a Fastec brace on my RD350 and my XS650. Fit great and I like the look.IMG_20210115_125114300.jpgIMG_20210115_125136286.jpg

Nice! I have one on the way to my house now. They are 10% off currently so it cost me $132.50 total.
$20.00 shipping is a little steep IMO.

Do you plan to install it to an RD350;which front fender will you use with it ?
