I have no interest in any social site accounts at all. It's enough to have a few useful and interesting hobbies with sites like this 1 to keep me busy. Having started my career in electronics in 1984 I've been part of the development of many current technologies we all take for granted as necessities, but some are just downright dangerous with many hidden features and nothing positive for a better society -like FB. I got along just fine before socials and am a Luddite at heart  Motorcycles give me more satisfaction than I could ever imagine by living my life through a mobile device.  :tellit:

Exactly. I'm the same. I don't have an account and never creating one.

apologies for the tangent on this one developing a life of its own. Probably would be more appropriate to continue in General Chatter if a friendly Moderator would like to move it

Quote from: RDryan on July 25, 2025, 07:39:59 PM:stupid-1: LOL because I am way more stupid :rant-1:  :tung2-1: but anyways I hate FB and I tried the link that the OP posted and it doesn't even work. Brings me to a blank screen with no ad to be seen, nothing to be seen except it is a FB page, like there is some kinda legend with the blue F in the upper left corner and I click on it and it brings me to another FB page where I can navigate a search of the site.

So yeah anyway just to keep this off topic. I don't like FB but I do have an account that I may delete at some point. I use a fake name don't share photos and obviously don't make friends but I wanted to see stuff for sale on Marketplace. From there I have lurked out of curiosity looking at business accounts and people from my past. Over a month ago I learned about the passing of a woman I dated 18 years ago. I really loved her and she moved away after we broke up but I always thought about her. Kinda shocked she took her life and her death is a mystery in more ways than one. Well that's a lot to say but it's been playing on me and I know there are hundreds maybe a couple thousand more folks that must be as bewildered as I am about her passing ...a long story about that. And you know? I still detest FB for other reasons but I gotta admit it keeps folks connected and it's kinda useful.

Here's a few pics of the chambers I have to offer. The mounts are in tact but they have been moved for a custom application. Flanges too!
