Title: New free MotoGP streaming service in the US
Post by: SoCal250 on August 13, 2025, 01:52:28 PM
BIG NEWS for US race fans! Yesterday it announced that a new free MotoGP streaming service is launching.  :patriot:

The channel will be available on "leading streaming services", MotoGP says, including the following: Prime Video, LG Channels, FireTV, FuboTV, Plex and Sling Freestream.

I checked it out last night and it looks like if you have Roku you can download the Sling Freestream app and then download the new MotoGP app. :cheerleader:
Although kind of a bummer for all those who paid for the VideoPass, since it's all free now.

Found this comment on Reddit about the new channel:

"Yea, I'm not canceling video pass for this. No Moto GP races, just practices and qualifying . Live Moto3 , Moto2 and MotoE races with commercials . I've got Prime, will check it out strictly out of curiosity to see if there is anything I'm not getting with Video Pass."

Has anyone had any luck finding it on Prime yet? I don't see it.

After rereading the stories about the new streaming service, it does indeed sound like it DOES NOT include MotoGP Sprints or Races. It sounds like it will cover all race weekend events; practice, qualifying, and the races for Moto3 & Moto2, but not the races for the premier class. Bummer. Better than nothing though, like we've had in the past.

My buddy has the MotoGP VideoPass, and we get together, have some beers, and watch the races weekly.

For me, if I had to watch and follow only one of the GP classes it would be Moto3.

Moto2 has been interesting lately with Joe Roberts (USA) winning last time out at Brno, but the tight racing in Moto3 is still the most exciting IMO - especially with Marquez running away and hiding in MotoGP.
