Prepped and swapped out the forks on the Gray Ghost.

Removed the clear coat with acetone and 0000 steel wool, then polished with White Diamond metal polish. The one on the right is before, the left after.

New seals from my spares stash and Lucas synthetic fork oil plus the new Progressive Suspension springs from my old forks. Reason for swap out was pits in the travel area that kept taking out the seals. I had this spare set from Ebay under my bed for a couple of years. Reassembly nearly complete. All that is left is torqueing the front axle nut, reinstalling the fork brace, tightening the top triple clamps and reinstalling the fairing.

Checked the sag and had to remove the 1/2 inch PVC spacer that was installed in the new forks. Good sag after that. Put 30 miles on with some deliberate hard braking and wheelies. No leaks!
