Title: Yamaha # to Mikuni # cross reference ?
Post by: So-Tex on June 08, 2026, 07:04:32 PM
Anybody have or know where to access a cross reference chart? from Yamaha part numbers to Mikuni part numbers.  Main and pilot jets are pretty straight forward but needles, needle jets, and slides are a little less intuitive.
It seems easier to find genuine Mikuni parts (needles and jets etc.) if you know the Yamaha number.  Everyone hear speaks in Mikuni #'s while Ebay is full of genuine Mikuni pars but they are listed and packaged under the Yamaha # even though the actual part in the Yamaha package is stamped the Mikuni number. I feel more comfortable buying by the Yamaha # in Yamaha packaging to avoid sub standard knock-off "Mukuni" parts.

Thanks Jeff

To my knowledge there isn't a cross reference chart. If you're looking for RD info it wouldn't be difficult to make your own spreadsheet, as there are only a few parts to deal with.  And keep in mind, some parts are NLA.

I started a spreadsheet a while back and your right RD's and R5 are pretty easy.  But I have several DT's and those carbs are all over the map. When I finish it I will offer it up here for anyone interested.  Ebay is great for NLA needles and jets, lots of NOS Yamaha / genuine Mikuni if you can navigate the PNs
