Not much muscle here, but has many unique features, plus not something you'll see these days.
After sitting for many years, this 65 yr old Yamaha is getting a new lease on life. Doing what it was meant to do, just cruising some country lanes. I took it out for its new maiden voyage and put about 6 miles of uneventful riding on pavement and some gravel just trying to build some trust in the little fellow. Cruising at 30 mph is definitely slow but can be a little therapeutic. Top speed is claimed to be just over 40 mph but I don't like to run the motors on my vintage bikes that hard, especially when no parts would be available. I'd prefer it had one more gear as it had the power to pull it. Shift pattern on this 3 speed manual transmission is a rare 1 up and 2 down. Here's a link to it's first riding video and a few pictures I took while I was riding around.
