Title: 25-year-old rearsets are the hot ticket
Post by: 1976RD400C on June 29, 2026, 10:35:59 AM
These old Vortex rearsets are built so much better than the new stuff. I replaced the skinny petal ones with these that have 2 bearings in the petals and are as rigid as a wrist pin bearing. The last 2 pictures show the difference. They lined up with the bolt holes on the adjustable bracket that was on there. Test ride, minor adjustment, oh yes!

I'm in a similar situation with choosing rearsets. The mounting bracket looks very similar to AccuProducts(?) which is exactly what my long legs need.
