Is this a new record?

Wow that's wild and I read the same question following the BAT comments. It's gotta be some kinda record. :umm:

I wonder if it's a fluke or the start of a trend that will have the RD's appreciate more over time?

I wish my 75' RD250 was in as nice original condition as that one, keywords there. I mean I could restore it but then it wouldn't be original. Strictly speaking toward the bodywork/tins.

LOL, yep I didn't catch those details. Incidentally I never removed the original paint from my carbs but the old dry rotted boots had to go. Early on in my efforts to keep my bike original I did get repro boots but they just seemed like a bulky nuisance when fiddling with the carbs so I got used to leaving them off.

1. It's a low miles orange '75
2. It has the backrest with cargo rack.

Both of those are an advantage, it seems, though not showroom fresh.

Hardly worth half that much, and you'd need to be emotionally invested.

Nice - but not that nice!

I would have expected that it would need to be in near-perfect cosmetic and running condition to even be worth half that.
