Title: Older Progressive Shocks
Post by: triple1972 on July 24, 2019, 02:26:42 AM
I have been conversing with a guy from CA who has a lot of old RD stuff. Are there any rear RD shocks that were made in the  seventies or early eighties that would be desirable or would they just be mostly just period correct and not a great shock? He says he has some old Progressive shocks that are really good. I am just looking for 2 cents.

I'd say they're a step up from OEM but only. Newer stuff is generally much better.

Sounds like the same guy. If so, he does have a LOT of stuff. Nice guy too. Eric I think?

Yes it is Eric. I think he is old school and a period correct guy but I may buy some things from him. Unfortunately I am a couple thousand miles away so can't see any items in person. Have you been to his place? You can PM me if you prefer.
