Title: Vibration Rubber

I think this warrants being here and ebay insanity. ==  https://www.ebay.com/itm/VERY-RARE-YAMAHA-RD400F-Daytona-2v0-11162-00-00-CYLINDER-FIN-RUBBERS/193414541423?hash=item2d0867b06f:g:5iYAAOSwlcxejUPy

I suppose you could ask him if he would throw in the rest of the bike if you purchase them.   :pop:

Those are rare but that price HAS to be a typo. His other parts (Ducati & Aprilia) all seem fairly reasonable.
Although, maybe it's not a typo since he claims an NOS set sold for $3800.  ::)

Are these in any way functionally superior? I would think if they were someone would have re-popped them already. So their only use is the last tiny detail on a concourse type restoration...  I will assume that the standard RD400 reproductions fit fine on a Daytona.

I've seen plenty of crazy stuff with restorers going overboard to make things correct. Even details that are not visible. But this is a little over the top.

I know a guy who makes rubber reproductions in Texas... How many Daytonas are left in the world? Probably not enough to warrant making some at a fair price.

I have a set...any offers?
I'm a realist. How about $134?
I'm very blessed to not have that much gray hair at 60!

My '79 is missing them but I'm not dropping more than $10-15 on a set. It's been fine for almost 15 years without them so...

Besides they add unnecessary weight and reduce cooling

Man, I have a set as well. I'll sell them, to support my project habits.

If E Bay has it marked as sold, isn't the commission due? Something sketchy is going on.

$1500 now, maybe he is trying to get you to meet him in the middle. You should up by 25 cents.
