Title: Clutch Slip
Post by: peaky on July 01, 2020, 10:05:36 PM
I've upgraded my Kawi S2a to the point where I get noticeable clutch slip on hard acceleration. Bigger carbs, flowed engine, Jim's pipes, Boyer ignition. Friction plates are all within spec. No glazing on steel plates.

Want to try a different set of clutch springs. Suggestions? Thank you!

Holds more plates. Use new fibers and stock springs. I put the late H2 ball bearing actuator in my S2A as well. As stated above you need a 400 primary gear.

OK! Thank you! Guess I'll finally use some of that spare gasket set I bought back in 2004.
