Title: 400c Rear Master Cylinder Replacement
Post by: Rhino363 on April 29, 2021, 01:46:50 AM
What is everyone using for a replacement rear master cylinder for the 400s. Are there any replacements available or one from another model that can be modified. I tried a rebuild kit but the casting is pitted and it is leaking.
Thanks

I have been looking into Chinabay MCs. I was successful in adapting one to a '79 CB750F. They often have very poor desciptions, so it is difficult to see which might work. If you should go that way, you MUST disassemble it, clean thoroughly and reassemble with brake fluid lubricating the seals. Many come with swarf and dirt inside, but cleaned up work fine.
