Title: Modifying Stock RD350 and 400 heads.
Post by: triple1972 on April 04, 2019, 12:51:50 AM
Hi RD guys. With so much talk about modern pump gas being inferior and compression ratios what machine work can be done to stock RD heads to increase performance for a street RD. I do understand that there's a lot more to the equation than just modified heads I just wondered if work to stock heads is still one way to increase hp on a street bike while still using just 93-95 pump gas?

if you get the squish corrected and the shape right, yes, it will help a bunch.

stock heads, worked, are fine for sure. any of the aftermarket heads aside from the webco reproductions can benefit from work as well.  :twocents:
