(not mine)
$30K+ invested? Not sure I believe that.
Wonder why he can't show a normal pic of the whole bike? Not a fan of the graphics.

1979 Yamaha rd daytona - $11,000 (Encino)
One off custom cafe build. Too much to list. Over $30,000 invested. One of a kind RD.
Fat pipes, are they home made? Paint is a little busy should have just stuck with blocks like on tail.
30k?!?
lol
I don't get it. Seems like it would be a cool bike, but only after a repaint again and not for 11k. Sheesh lol
30k? bullshit.
You would think for that much money they could have at least made some decent brackets for the rearsets and front caliper, and replaced the lame stock rear caliper with something more competent.
I think the paint is going to hold it back. No way it pulls in 11 grand!
agreed.
he should paint it all green. ALL
All the overpriced original parts that make it a Daytona are gone, even the $800 rubber damper for the side of the barrels. Now its just an RD400 with an ugly paint scheme.
I sure hope he is exaggerating the 30K invested, but these days you never know. I just read o post where a guy was complaining about paying 2.5k to get his clutch replaced. thats just plates., not baskets or anything.
I need to open a shop and call it Barnums Bike Emporium. 2.5k. what the fuck.
Nice pipes and carbs.
There's a sucker born every minute!...........................
