I'm trying to find information, but there doesn't seem to be much out there.
I read something a long time ago that Roger Allen from Wicked Motorsport made them or was going to make them or helped to make them . Completely forgot about it until i was on the site looking at a pipe for a Katana recently.
Have not heard back from him fyi. Do you have an email for him Wade?
I think the owner goes by "Red"? I bought a 4 into 1 stainless for my KZ900 from him years ago. High quality work. He built chambers and some people were critical of his work because they had not heard of him. After he sold the chambers he quit building them, as far as I know. Until now. I'd buy a set from him if I needed chambers.

The pipe story has turned into a negotiation of sorts, based on how many sets of pipes for specific model pre-ordered (350 vs 400). They're a bit expensive at 3 sets made, probably more $ than I would spend on an unknown pipe, but if another adventurous soul (or two) signed up we'd be right where we need to be. I'll let you know what happens!

It's weird, he basically said "Well, I'd have to sell a certain number of sets to get them done for $449. If its less than that the price goes up." He also said that price is where he doesn't get paid for his time.

primadona fabricator, I've known quite a few over the years. Hard pass. Because, I can tell you this, if they ever make a mistake... its always your fault. :dislike:
So I take it, no-one is getting any pipes.
I told him that my buddy and I are out at the current pricing/time schedule, but if he gets to a point of being able to deliver the pipes for $449 I would probably still be interested. Can't speak for my friend, Striker or Yamavarna.
I am looking into other options, including Spec II, Lomas and ? It was posted on the RD/RZ site that Chris at Patriot claims to make the pipes for Wicked...which is just as well, as Wicked still hasn't responded to my request. :busey:
I'm out unless they're as advertised at $449... which I doubt they ever will be.
if hes making them for wicked, it makes sense as the early wicked pipes were just awful looking welds. this might be why they got markedly better. just my .02
