i really wanted my cafe seat to have a yamaha label on it. i bought these on ebay. i was skeptical at first but if you do it right you'll have a great outcome.
Well done!
That worked well. Nice!
Very nice. Does it have adhesive or does it require heat or something?
the stencil itself is a sticker. the only reason i used my heat gun was to warm up the seat a little because it sat in the cold garage overnight. you must use a grease and wax remover to get it really clean for the stencil to stick.
here is a video. youtube.com/watch?v=EZczizFjgNY&ab_channel=VintCo
thats how my upholstery guy does it. looks great. :olaf:
Is that a Texavina seat?
yes i believe it is. i'll try to look at my parts receipts to see the brand.
The previous owner bought the seat off ebay.

i don't have the receipt but by looking at my seat and the seat pan it looks identical to the seat in the photos which is a Texavina.
Thought so.
I am interested in how comfy the seat is. My Vietnam seat (easy 10 years old) feels very hard, like it's stuffed with pool noodle foam.
Always had a eye on those Texavinas but never was able to get any user feedback,
Thanks
well i am the one to ask about comfort. i have a lower back problem that left me without much cushion where my back meets my rear end. not trying to be a salesman but i really like this seat and with my bike having medium rise handlebars it is very comfortable. so i can give the seat a A for comfort. i can also say it is well made.
hope this helps,
Looks great !
