[img][img]Been working over the winter, ready for some sunny riding. Tires, disk brake and front end swap, rear hargon shocks, vape electronic charging system, moto Carrara rear set, spec 2 chambers.

Nice work!  you will find the Disc brake swap very helpfull.  The drum set up gives me a few moments here and there..

my 72 has the disc conversion on the front, its nice(actually an early xs650 front end), but my 70 hasn't ever given me any grief. the drum works really well on it. (its also stock) but no issues. same w the ds7.

your 70 is the 'hotter slutty sister' to my 70.  I dig it.

I agree the drum doesn't really give me any problems but if I take out my 75 first and then hop on the 70 you really need to make a mental adjustment.

3D systems HQ got a visit today by me on my 70. Its like yours, but ooozing with stockness.

I bought my R5 in the late 80s.  It was actually an RD with R5 tank, side covers and motor.  I damaged the side covers in an accident but the tank was ok.  I found an RD motor in a junk yard and rebuilt it.  Here it is with the original motocarrera expansion chambers.
