Title: changing water pump 97 sentra
Post by: bracket maker on May 18, 2019, 11:06:57 AM
took like 1 hour per bolt. cant believe it was that difficult. almost impossible to get your hands on tools. ratchet went 1 click at a time. can not believe the level of difficulty to replace such a simple part. took 1/2 hour to remove the old pump once the bolts were out. finally used a breaker bar to push an ac line out of the way.

That's odd. With my '05 it took me about 2 hours from opening the hood to cleaning the tools and putting them away.

Or, maybe it's just you.
I asked a buddy of mine to look up the book hours on a '97 Sentra...2.5hrs.
Same as the '05.

that's not what the internet says. could be me because there is some front end damage. repaired by the po. the quarter panel on that side is new as well as the hood and bumper.
