I watched and enjoyed both videos. It did seem like insanity to carry their bikes to avoid "riding on paved roads." I would have just pushed them across or along them and called it good! I also thought the rebuild video interesting in that he did not speak and explain what he was doing. It was a bit strange at first, but I ended up enjoying the change after a while. I highly recommend both!

I took a look at my rear wheel and it looks exactly like yours, with the dust shield recessed about 1/8". I'm pretty sure you've assembled yours correctly.
