Foam was just ebay purchase, do not remember who from. Cover was a recent ebay purchase which was one of the reasonable ones listed. It was way way to "short" to wrap around stock foam, so I cut foam down probably 2-3 inches and attached with stock hardware.

A bit more progress on the 75. Might be ready in spring, I got sidetracked saving a different 75 350 (that I will put in sale section shortly). 75 on lift is current project, other one is the one I will list here first.

Once you get it sorted, would love to see it, just looks like such a clean build. So if you get across the river, give me a shout, I am on the east side, just across 270 bridge. Keep up the good work.

I got a set just to play with for a 350 build I am doing. The guy on ebay selling them is close to me, I believe he is in Pacific or Eureka Missouri. They look just fine but I have not installed them yet. They were $194, we will see, will build engine this winter.

Mark, I am not sure of what you are looking for exactly, but we used sprag bearing/hub on our racing kart. A family we raced with runs an aircraft machine shop facility, and they supply kart parts including sprags.  https://www.hegar4.com/zc150/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=102&zenid=1040b229de1a73ac23d6fce004e1bf06

They are very handy, Many years ago, I owned a computer shop, and we bought those in rolls for keeping wires neat. I still have a roll of red, and a roll of black, great idea.

Mike, I am probably just across the river from you. Do you have any idea if any site exists (or should one be started) that does file sharing like your gasket scan??? My son also has a very nice laser, 3D printer, and a vinyl cutter, and he makes stuff for me. The guy on FB (burgess) has been making a number of parts, and they look great. Mark may know him??

I converted my old HF blast cabinet to a water/vapor blaster this year. I tested several media grit on RD cases and carbs. Like has been said, came out well, I just cleaned very well, and gave them some time in ultrasonic cleaner. Just an fyi, cost me about maybe 250 to convert my cabinet, and parts come very close to the much higher dollar cabinets currently available.

I think it is crazy also, sadly my cousin may he rest in peace passed away. He was a custom bike painter and most of my stuff was always buy the beer and paint and its done. He passed away last year and local shops think anything other than insurance work they want to make a killing off of. I did take Marks lead and just got a pair of those cheap carbs to play with for a 350 I am building just to play with. They actually look pretty decent.

Yep, the muscle car story is sad, I have owned a bunch of them, but could(or would not)pay the prices they want now. Just by luck, I did not sell my favorite one which is in the garage next to a few 2 strokes. I still have my factory Hemi Super Bee. I am teaching myself to paint right now, as I got bids from 2 shops for just paint on a rd400 tank, 600 and 800, I will do it myself.

I bought a rear spoke hub also, probably 10 years ago for a build (not yet working on much). Anyway, I contacted Buchanans for spokes, they sent me spokes which sat on a shelf for maybe a year. I laced wheel, every spoke hits the hub and to get them in wheel, they had to be bent(bowed)??? I put the wheel on the shelf, still there, will probably need to send to them for correct parts, so i will be curious to see how yours comes out, good luck, keep up the good work.
