eBay/Craigslist watch / Kenny Roberts autographed leathers
« on: June 10, 2021, 03:08:49 PM »
(not mine, but man I wish!)
I've bought a few things from Miguel over the years. Good guy :cheerleader:

Kenny Roberts Snr Worn 1982 Dainese Leathers, $16,995.00

You can also buy an autographed MotoGP exhaust
These Pipes have been obtained directly from Kenny Roberts Snr and were all used during his Proton 500cc / MotoGP project. Riders such as Jeremy McWilliams, Nobuatsu Aoki & Jurgen Van Den Goorbergh all piloting the Proton MotoGP bikes during this era.

Current MotoGP Parts are extremely difficult to obtain, so these genuine used Pipes which Kenny Roberts Snr. has personally signed make a lovely & very unique item.

General Chatter / 2022 R7
« on: May 18, 2021, 01:11:24 PM »
Yamaha just announced a new R7

I wonder if the're going to continue to R6? It seems they would almost have to if they wish to stay in the Supersport race classes

(not mine) but I wouldn't mind having two more.
These are already way out of my budget and you couldn't ever ride them if you want to preserve the value.

Who wants to be the next owner of "The Green Hornet"?!

1979 Yamaha RD-400 Daytona Special - $5,900 (Artesia)
1979 Yamaha RD 400 Daytona Special, rare two stoke engine motorcycle, electronic ignition, new battery and carbs were just cleaned and tuned, pre-mix, not oil injected. I stored the motorcycle for many years and the right front faring is broken and gas tank has a dent near the filler cap from a item falling on it in my garage. Also during the time it was stored, the battery leaked an corroded the paint on the right side of the frame. The motorcycle has a clean title and is currently registered. Tires have tread but are old since the motorcycle was stored for many years. I have too many activities and just don’t ride it enough to justify keeping the motorcycle any longer.

This seller can't be serious. I'm thinking this can't possibly be a legit ad with 0 photos and asking 19 grand for a bike with no title and 35K miles.  :umm:
Says it has a clean title, but also says that the title is missing.
"its like a radiator cooled engine 350cc"

Race Discussions / VR46 team in MotoGP starting 2022
« on: April 28, 2021, 11:38:44 PM »
Valentino Rossi's VR46 team secures Saudi backing for a full MotoGP entry in the 2022 MotoGP World Championship.

Maybe this is why he's been sucking so much lately, he's been spending too much time on his many business dealings instead of focusing on riding (and not crashing). :umm:
