Engine is back from a very reputable builder, and I'm trying to adjust the clutch, but I can't get enough pull to engage it at all.  Even with the adjuster screw all the way in and the cable screw all the way out, I get a little action.  Seems to me it may be missing ball?  Looks like the parts diagram shows two, one in the clutch basket (Right side of Eng) and another of the left side?  Don't seem to have one of those and I'm not sure where that one would go. The Push Rod protrudes 1.75 from the case.  Is it possible to Right side ball got got lost or potentially never installed?   Can I push one in from the left side ?  Thanks in advance...

No afflation with the seller..

Replacing my intake manifolds.  What's the trick to stop leaks?  What torque specs? I hear 10Ftlbs, which seems like a lot to me, 120InLbs.  New gasket between case and Reed box (no sealer), black RTV around the manifold circle and reed case.  Torque diagonally.  Thanks in advance...

This bike has lived in Hanover NH area all its life and was owned by a NYC Banker who got old and the bike has been reportedly sitting in his garage/barn since the mid 80's. It has 3100 mile on the clock and except for replacement intake with crossover, is VERY stock.  Compression is 143/145 and cylinders look great. The plan is to split the case and reseal it, rebuild carbs, oil pump, brakes, tires, bearings and all hoses and polish it up and run it.  They are only original once?  Any other ideas for her?
