Wonder about the minimum torque setting. I had a Makita at work that could be set very light, which was great for multi-screw panels that had to come off repeatedly, but needed all screws.

BTW, my favorite for several years has been a long needle nose with a 90 end. Seems I grab them out of habit when tooling up for a task, knowing they will be needed at least once.

This is the hazard of fixing up to sell - then you want to keep. I ran into this with a boat. After sanding, buffing, polishing, etc. it looked great! But, it had not been in the water for three years, so it was sold.

Rode my 400c to the vintage gathering in Knoxville last night (~20 miles one-way). Ran great, started 2nd half-hearted kick, idled perfect. Realized that it was only the 2nd time I'd ridden it this year. At 71, I don't ride as much, and do most of it on the Spyder. The old GoldWing and RD don't get enough exercise, even though I love them both. I'll be putting together a sale ad and new photos/video, etc. over the next couple weeks. Any inquiries welcome. I know that Ed Toomey delivered some work to a friend of mine in the paddock at Barber last year.

Small oil leak - get an LED UV flashlight (Amazon or ebay) and look for it in a darkened garage. I found a leak on mine from a blanking plug that would not stay seated. Finally cleaned all and coated the OD of the seal with Hondabond - no leaks since.

They've been used as lightweight hitch pins for decades.

It has factory 2 four bbl carter afb carbs.

That is a monster! Harry Hyde told us the hemi couldn't be fed too much air and fuel. The issue becomes traction. Our engine came from a wrecked R/T that was pulled out of a tree where it missed a curve and ran off a cliff. Really, a bit too much engine for dirt in the late 60's.

Hemis (the real, 426 Hemi) are scarce these days. What carb setup? When I was a teen, my friends ran a 426 with 2x4 barrel setup on dirt.

I don't see grease as messy. You still have to clean all of the built-up brake fluid crud out. Grease just wipes out with rags and kerosene or diesel. 

Very interesting, but I fear it would put me in the ER.

You can go with tapered roller for the lowers, which receive most of the abuse and notchyness. You can stay with balls for the uppers.

Simple to turn many resistor caps into non-resistor by replacing the resistor with a section of #10 solid building wire.
