It was my wife's grandfather's car. 340, 727 AT, original except for the Edelbrock carb; I couldn't get the thermoquad to stop leaking internally.

Just checked the status of my Partzilla order; the clutch springs should be available today. The same springs I ordered from Economy. I should not shop late at night.

Clutch plates arrived Monday, Partzilla is waiting for a few back orders to fill before shipping, Economy stuff should be here tomorrow, and this arrived from the Independent Kingdom of Treatland yesterday:

And from a dirt biker perspective, I like Bel-Ray, dislike No-Toil and would use any other foam filter oil. It's thick and sticky. I have a foam filter on a Y-boot on my RZ, always oiled it per dirt bike experience and it works well. BUT, having said all that, Mark knows his stuff and it's entirely possible my RZ wishes I'd quit oiling it's filter.

I'll second that; only good experiences with Speed & Sport

That's great information, thanks! Sounds like the RD spacer won't work, the SR spacer will be wider than the frame and the swingarm will be narrower. I'd check these things, but I left it at work because I was on the RZ yesterday; I may have to run in to town this morning as the suspense is killing me.

Tim, my first instinct here is a hay joke, but I'm putting that aside (for now). I have a portable HF blaster that my lovely wife snagged at a yard sale for the princely sum of $5 and I haven't even tried it out. Should I buy some beads for surface prep with this thing, or go chemical or what? Mr. Ritter did my top end and Mr. Garland has my crankshaft, but another package to the other side of the continent? Hmmm.

I am so pleased with my top end from John and I can't wait to ride it. I don't think you'll be disappointed
