Really? :umm:

From what I've read there were 2 RD versions 6 speed and a 5 speed
The 5 speed was essentially the same as the other but without the 6th gear. Supposedly that was in line with 17 year olds and less age motorcycle license rules.

That I'm sure is a lotta work just so we can be the cool kids on the block!

Pretty amazing stuff the Nazi engineer's were creating.

"The Junkers Jumo 223 was an experimental 24-cylinder aircraft engine based on the Junkers Jumo 205. Like the Jumo 205, it was an opposed piston two-stroke diesel engine. It had four banks of six cylinders in a rhomboid configuration, with four crankshafts, one at each vertex of the rhombus, and 48 pistons. It was designed for a power of 2,500 horsepower at 4,400 rpm, and weighed around 2,370 kg.

Only one example is known to have been built. It is rumored to have been taken to Moscow at the end of World War II, where development may have continued. The engine was contemplated for use in the four-engine Messerschmitt Me 264 long-range bomber, https://planehistoria.com/me-264-amerika-bomber/

Finally the insurance  company coughed up on some more tool replacement from the fire.
I lost 3 good saws and their $$ sent equalled enough for this.
It's actually better than any of the lost 3.

At the risk of outting myself as a barbarian I've just used a deep socket and C clamp on stuck pins.
Also on automotive pistons too Wade.

Bought me a cheap crappy Chinese mini battery powered chain saw trimmer.
What I really can't believe is how good it actually works.
What POS did you pick up that surprised you 🤔
