Connect it directly to a battery to see if it will "honk". If not, then do what PID suggested, the screw will adjust the contact breaker and impact the sound.

I've used a variety of them, just make sure they have a similar resistance to whatever is used. 

There was a cool Japanese show called Kikaider with a solid custom sidecar H1 or H2.

The other character rode an H2 as well.

This for an RD? I thought the ES were too long.

Depends which RD model:
RD60 = B7HS
RD125/200/250/350 = B8HS
RD400 (and RD125C/RD200C) = B8ES
