I've used the UV dye a time or two at work, works well. Believe it was from Amazon, kit had the dye and a UV flashlight supplied. Just need to make sure the oil is well mixed before it leaks out and you try to find it with the supplied flashlight.

Heave - we use the Loctite retaining stuff (green) at work with decent results. Do not use the red stuff that is made for bolts. My RZ cases had a similar problem to yours and I put it together with the green Loctite. Long term durability yet to be determined as I only have about 15 miles on the rebuild. I didn't sweat it too much as there aren't many good alternatives to bearings moving in cases, so we'll see. Sorry can't give the definitive answer yet.

Glad to see you here too Supertune. Talked to my long time buddy Steve McDonald (2Steve on the forum I believe) and he said he met you at Barber, and that you are doing some 400 cylinders for him. Steve and I go way back to 1979, college, and years of Kawi 500, RZ's, and RD's.

Many thanks to M in SC for getting this going again. I was bummed when it croaked, used it a lot for my RZ/R5 projects. Did not contribute a lot but got answers to a lot of stupid questions, picked up info from searches, and bought/sold a couple things. Just glad to see it alive again.
