Sounds good Ian and looking forward to seeing it in a couple weeks.

Enjoyed the vid John and survived it seizure free!  :righteous: I agree, love the shape and lines of the lovely Suzuki Stinger tank. Will you have it on your bike for DG in a couple of weeks? Great work! See you soon!

I used a 50/50 mix of the purple Simple Greem to hot water. Ran each carb about 20 min x3. Very clean internally but not real happy with the dulling dark gray color on exterior of carbs. I guess the main thing is they are cleaned internally but next time I'm using Marks magic elixir outdoors.

I viewed it before it sold- was a steal of a deal! Mark- did you get it?

I use Simple Green, but the purple Simple Green (found at Home Depot in gallon jugs). It takes very little of it mixed with water.

What ratio of the Industrial Simple Green to water do you recommend?

I ordered a 3L Rovsun stainless model off Amazon for $89.99 prime. Looked like a great deal with excellent capacity for the $. How long would you run it to clean a carb?

I've used Gunk brand, Berryman's, and Yamahas brand in a gallon container submerging removed parts and jets. What have you found to work best? I know Chuck/ Supertune has a recommendation but I can'r remember it? Thanks.

If you go methanol injection, I highly recommend Alky Control/ PAC progressive system that Julio Don sells out of Tampa FL. I ran one for years on a Buick Turbo T and it is a great system. Has a very beefy pump too! Prior to that a ran a non progressive system (SMC) that Steve Chalupsa built. I was an alky boost addict for 18 years until I sold the Buick. These days I play with Modern Mopars as I have an 06 300C SRT8 with the 6.1 Hemi. It is quite the sleeper and has a few mods on it with a Diablosport Predator tune on it. I like your ride and I bet the mod potential is endless!

I've used them for long rides (as well as mowing the lawn) for years. Personally, I like the smallish backpack style Camelbak brand with bite valve. You can buy cleaning tablets for them too. Before using, I fill up the bladder with ice cubes and then add cool water. It's good for 1-2=hr rides. Always best to stay hydrated especially if you have a history of kidney stones as I do.

For RZ350 owners, TDR (Tony Doukas Racing) sells the adapter for the nice beefy R1 components to bolt up to stock RZ fork lowers. A great upgrade and one finger braking but you have to exercise caution with this level of stopping ability.

Kudos to Mark for sharing the file to RD owners!

I have one decent used one for sale on eBay. Paper is intact and should work as intended. If you are interested, I could  end the listing. $18 shipped to you if you are in the US or plus actual shipping international.
