For sure. It's been sitting a while so first thing is to clean the tank, ultrasonic clean the carbs, change the plugs.  add some premix and see if she'll fire. I'll also have to add a powerdynamo ignition. I had one on my R5 and loved everything about it. It's 2023, I'm not messing with points lol.

Over the winter I'll tear it all apart and give everything a fresh coat of paint. I've also gotten into powdercoating recently so I'll be able to use my DIY home setup for that.

I am really looking forward to this build and hanging onto this bike for a long time.

If it's been sitting a long time would be better to replace engine seals before starting.

This week's Collector Call (7/17) on METV is a motorcycle guy.

Someone told me, back then complete replacement engine was only $400.

Like he says, does look freshly turned. 

But he took so much time laying things out taking detailed pics, compiling a list of items and (his at least) estimate of condition.
